St Curigs Church offers that something different in bed and breakfast accommodation in the heart of Snowdonia National Park – modern ensuite bedrooms in the unique surroundings of a spectacular 19th century church.
On a typical weekend, the B&B is full of walkers and climbers, families, writers, photographers, romantics … and there’s never a dull moment.
This is a family home, with all the toys pets and friends that that involves. You’re likely to be greeted by Brecon, the friendly German Shepherd, and the cats may want to curl up next to you on the sofa. But, if you’re not a dog person, let Alice know and she will keep him inside when you arrive.
It’s also worth knowing that the atmosphere at St Curigs Church at times can be that of a house party. And, because of the nature of the building, those lying-in may hear some noise in the morning from early risers keen to get out on the mountains. That said, all guests are asked to keep noise to a minimum after 11pm when the pinball machine is switched off and the table football machine is off-limits.
By then most guests are ready for their beds and a good night’s sleep in preparation for another day out in Snowdonia…
