Many visitors arrive at the Minack Theatre imagining it was built by invading Romans. If Caesar’s legions had come this far they might have been beguiled by the beauty of the place, but the real truth is as remarkable as this enduring fiction.
The website for this QWerky place to visit gives you lots of information about Rowena Cade, her life story to be exact. In a nutshell she has to be admired as this wonderful theatre is her own work. She made it! Go girl, girl power!
For Mr Q and I a visit to this area would not be complete without a visit to this theatre but if your visit were to coincide with a theatre production then imagine how fantastic that would be. Having sat through Opera performed in Verona, I can only say this Cornish competitor will give Verona a run for its money.
A MUST go place.
